The Mark J. Hemstedt Scholarship

My vision is to have Indonesian women connect with their hearts and realise that their true power is LOVE.
It is this vision that has led me to build a career in personal development in Jakarta.

I believe that a woman is the heart of a family. If a woman can live based on love and not fear, she can educate and nurture not only her children but also her husband, home and community.
This in turn will increase engagement at work and create a stronger nation.

It is my passion to enable people to see the best version of themselves and create more possibilities and opportunities in life. My goal is to create a world where people can look back on their life, and be proud of the impact they created.
I am lucky to have a role where the training we provide empowers individuals and helps people find the power in their hearts.

Aside from my job, I create social events for orphanages and for women in unfortunate circumstances.
I help run the annual event Willpower Of Women event (WOW) that has been running since 2018. The event empowers women in all aspects of their lives, especially in law, finance, health and sports. In each event I lead a meditation session that leads them back to themselves, to forgive and to love themselves as they are.
I also do stress-releasing meditation for social workers in LBH Apik, an NGO in Indonesia whose concerns are in the field of domestic violence.

I believe that every human being is born with a very special gift. It is our will to accept, acknowledge and embrace it that ignites the beauty in each person and create a difference in the world

I learned that self-awareness, the awareness of our body, mind and emotion is important in leadership. Siska Suri is a woman who is very passionate about social and personal development. Her own personal development journey began in 2012, when she was a participant in a self-awareness program, run by a company that she then went on to join herself. This step allowed her to focus on making powerful contributions to the journeys of other people, and to her community as a whole.

Her experience of working in this way with the community in Jakarta has furthered the development of her vision: “Giving for a Living”, where she supports other, less fortunate women to find their own passion and purpose in the world.

“Coaching is one of my passions, and to attend Newfield has been my dream for a long time. When I was offered the MJH scholarship I was very excited and grateful for the opportunity to make my dream come true.

Supported by great coaches from all over the world, I learned the distinctions of Body, Emotion and Language and became curious in how I and others show up in the world through these domains.

In this journey, I gained awareness and knowledge of how to powerfully observe myself, as well as the people around me. It has been an amazing experience to learn with the best and become close with my wonderfully diverse group of fellow participants. It has been an insightful, enriching and life changing experience that I will always cherish.”
